As Namkhan’s original project in 2016, our organic farm is now well established and producing fruit, vegetables and herbs all year round.
Organic farming thrives on diversity and good composting methods, this keeps the soil rich and enables the growth of nutritionally dense crops that are full of flavour. Our zero waste and organic green cycle starts in our restaurant; leftovers and peels feed our many farm animals and the remainder goes to compost. Manure is collected and added to our compost and when ready is spread over the crops, this provides essential nutrients to soil for optimum plant growth. We do not use any chemicals on our farm and produce our own repellents to deter bugs and insects. Our farm team take care of the crops and when ready for harvest, they supply our restaurant which is where the green cycle begins once again.
