The idea was already born in 2010, due to various reasons it took us until 2017 to finally start building and developing the Namkhan ecolodge which was opened in 2019 – due to the pandemic the last two years where very challenging but we kept the property open and did not allow the jungle to take it back. In 2017 the owners finally found the time to shift their attention to this part of the world and build the project.
We believe that the Namkhan ecolodge provides a completely different understanding of hospitality. Integrating and working with what Laos has do offer, developing, producing and building the biggest part of the resort with our own team or small local companies. Most furniture is made by our own carpentry, the 100% ecological Farm delivers the vegetables, fruits, mushrooms etc..
